The Gellaxis are a gelatin-based alien species which first appear in Issue 34 of the Invader Zim comic series.

Summary

The Gellaxis are a blob-like, gelatin-based species. They are known for being obsessed with right angles, which they are described as apparently never shutting up about.

They often get so excited over angles that they emit screeching cries which are very annoying for people standing nearby. This obsession also means that the Gellaxis despise wadded up objects, as wads have no proper angles.

The Gellaxis are the operators of the space prison Moo-Ping 10, where for a price they will incarcerate anyone. Matching their obsession with angles, the prison is composed of numerous interlocking blocks. It also has a security force which appears to be solely dedicated to eliminating any wads found within the prison, which is always treated as an emergency situation.

The Gellaxis also take the matter of payments for their services very seriously. When Zim (who pays to have numerous people imprisoned) is delinquent on his payments, due to having put GIR in charge of them, he is himself imprisoned until such time as he can pay his debt. When he manages to do so, he is set free.

When Moo-Ping 10 appears in Invader Zim: Enter the Florpus, as the place where Zim imprisons the kidnapped Professor Membrane, several Gellaxis guards appear as well.

They capture Dib and Gaz when they infiltrate the prison with the help of Tak's Ship to rescue their father and toss them into the same cell the Professor as well as other aliens were being kept in.
